Welcome to my blog! This is a short introduction post about who I am, what I’ll be writing about, and what you can expect here.

My name is Breno, and I’m a Security Software Engineer. I currently work at VTEX on the Application Security team, where I focus on building a security platform that gives visibility into security issues across both internal applications and external ones running in our infrastructure. I’ve been in the security field for a few years now, and I joined VTEX during my graduation, and it’s been a place where I’ve grown a lot. I’ve learned about Cloud Security, Application Security, how large businesses operate, and the particularly complex challenge of managing third-party code securely at scale.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about theater and dance. I started doing theater in 2024 and have been part of several plays since. I’m also beginning to explore dance, with a focus on Vogue and Urban Dance.
